What is SICKLE 540?
It is registered for aquatic use. Sickle 540 contains a proprietary surfactant system that allows it to be used in aquatic areas. This use pattern is not possible with many other glyphosate formulations, including Roundup PowerMAX®.

What is the advantage(s) of using SICKLE 540?
• High loaded formulation –

Sickle 540 contains 540 gai/L glyphosate present as the isopropylamine (IPA) salt. A high loaded formulation means a lot more hectares are sprayed from one drum versus many other glyphosate formulations available in the market.

• Short rainfastness period –

Independent rainfastness studies have confirmed that the rainfastness period for Sickle 540 is equivalent to the Roundup PowerMAX label claim.

• Highly compatible –

Sickle 540 is compatible with a wide range of herbicides and insecticides.

• No need for an external surfactant –

Under most field conditions, Sickle 540 does not require the addition of an external surfactant. Please read General Instructions section of Sickle 540 product label.

• Viscosity –

Like all glyphosate formulations, as the product temperature decreases, the viscosity increases. As Sickle 540 is based on the IPA salt, its change in viscosity is noticeable when the product temperature falls below 5°C. However, pumping tests have confirmed that even at such temperatures, the pumping rates are still acceptable.
