How to use STRIKER™ SC 500 Selective Herbicide?
Striker™ is a SC - Formulation to be mixed with water. Stir product or invert container several times before using as setting may occur after storage for some weeks. To ensure even mixing, half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of Striker™. Agitate thoroughly and continue agitating while filling the tank. Agitate continuously while carrying out spray operations. Reseal part used drums immediately after use.
Pre-emergence of weeds:
Apply to moist soil. Sufficient moisture in the form of rain or irrigation is necessary to move the chemical into the weed root zone.
Post-emergence of weeds:
Spray when weeds are actively growing.
Do not use on sandy, loamy or gravelly soil unless otherwise stated, as crop damage may result.
How does STRIKER™ SC 500 Selective Herbicide work?
Striker™ 500 SC is a selective Herbicide which has the photosynthesis at photosystem II inhibitor mode of action.
Are weeds resistant to STRIKER™ SC 500 Selective Herbicide ?
Some naturally occurring weed bio-types resistant to Striker ™ and other photosynthesis at photosystem II inhibitor herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if this type of herbicide is used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Striker™ or any other photosynthesis at photosystem II inhibitor herbicides.
