Once
it was assumed that food supplies would
always limit population growth. But in the
last two hundred years this has not
been the case. By one means or another
farmers, agricultural scientists and the
agrochemical industry have always found a
way to increase farm production to keep up
with population growth. However we have yet
to find more efficient ways to get food from
where it is produced to where it is needed
most. |
